I prefer my plain wedding band to silicone band. The silicone bands feel weird to me right after washing my hands, unless I am able to take it off and dry it individually. Which isn’t always an option, so I decided on a plain platinum band for my work ring. 1.It really doesn’t matter if a bunch of internet strangers love or hate your ring, what ultimately matters is how you feel about it. Solution that might work here is you wear the ring during your engagement and switch to just a band when you get married. Since the ring is non-refundable anyway the money is pretty much out the window and at the very least it means you aren't wearing a giant rock for the rest of your life. 9.
