Playing with a deadeye right now and it's super fun and satisfying to play, but it requires 4 times the effort over zerker for slightly similar results. Artillerist isn't really that ranged. I play close/mid. Very high stagger and destruction. Need good knowledge of mechanics due to attack delays. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. It is slow to level up and the class doesn't get fluid till t3.Tai scrapper, Mayhem zerker, scouter, reflux sorc, but for me it's the DI Shadowhunter by far in terms of ease, price and fun. Gunlancer was fun being able to just face tank with your shield up and still do good damage and have cool abilities.
