To export still images, otherwise known as freeze frames in other software and film lingo. I should have searched for freeze frames in the manual. Got it done in Premiere, maybe more slowly. its my first day with Davinci and i just cant figure out why its greyed out for me. i tried changing in the project settings to either sony, black magic etc. but they didnt change anything for this tab. clip im using is just a folder that i drag n dropped (exr - 16 bit images). I have them synced but the Add to Render Queue remains greyed out when I fill in all the info for a Video File. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system.
