Took my times from 4-5m to 1:50-2:30. its a pretty drastic improvement and makes grinding vorkath very feasible for ironmen pre lance. As it currently stands, the Osmumten's Fang, to me at least, looks nice. It's clean, simple, nicely colored, boasts that desert weapon vibe perfectly, and is a very nice take on a stab weapon. Gotcha, well I guess we will find ...The chest is found in Osmumten 's burial chamber in the Tombs of Amascut raid, and can be searched for rewards after defeating Tumeken's Warden and Elidinis' Warden . The rewards from the chest vary; like the Chambers of Xeric chest and the Monumental chest from the Theatre of Blood, the rewards inside are based on performance in the raid. The fang either needs to either be treated similar to that of a tbow because of its blanket effect or it should see some form of nerf so that it doesn’t render most other items useless. A 60m or even a 400m blanket item is bad because it ends gear progression early. But imo a blanket item is just bad for the game overall. For your second question, fang is a pretty poor choice of weapon against low def targets. Whip is ~7.5% stronger on task than fang against mutated bloodvelds, which have 30 def level and 0 def bonus. I tried this myself with and struggled a bit as an average PvMer.I feel like, at least for osrs, magic ( namely due to barraging and the already boosted damage ) is and has been really good. ( more click intensive ) but using ancient magiks with this staff is also horrendous it will almost garentee any barrage to hit and hit in upwards of 50s.since the release of Osmumten's fang DHL and DHCB have been hit HARD with FANG outcompeting these 2 items on many dragons. Lance and DHCB tanked because there's no dragons in the fucking raid. The fang beats DHL at mithril, adamant, rune, and brutal black dragons, as well as KBD.
