You can mess with hold times and delay times in programming. The only thing I've found that helps is increasing the squelch above 1. Solder the red wires together and to pin 5, Black wires together and to pin 1, Green wires together and to pin 2. I soldered wires to the three pins on the USB plug first and then soldered the 3 different sets of wires to the leads. Solder the bare wires together. The white wires are not used.The REM-820S is an SMA mount designed specifically for use with the SDS100. It will fully seat on the scanner, and has an o-ring to maintain the weather resistance of the scanner. The REM-800B is the same antenna, but with a BNC mount. You would use the SMA-BNC adapter that comes with the scanner.Nov 22, 2018. #3. My original "first Run" SDS100 had the same VHF/UHF issues, analog or digital. However, after a couple lengthy trips to Uniden Repair, I was given a factory refurbished unit as a replacement to my original. The factory refurb unit exhibits none of the original VHF/UHF issues.The refurb unit is actually better than my x36 ....
